Submission Guidelines

Pendragon Publishing is a great supporter of authors, established and new! We are always looking for great stories.

We are interested in fiction and non-fiction in most genres, illustrated books, cookbooks and poetry.

Please ensure you follow the Submission Guidelines below to give your work the best chance for consideration by our editorial team.

Unfortunately to avoid the high level of spamming that is around these days, we only use a contact form for the initial contact with customers and clients. Please request our direct email through the Contact Form. Then send your submission, including: your contact details (email and postal address, phone number); a short summary of the work you’re submitting; the intended audience of your work; any comparable authors or titles in the market; a brief author bio (including any publishing history, writing experience or awards you’ve received, and where to find you on social media); whether the work is out on submission with agents or other publishers. Also attach a short synopsis (no more than one A4 page, single spaced) and the total word count and a detailed chapter outline and the first 3000 words (minimum) of the work.

What happens next?

You may or may not receive a receipt of submission – we are a small company and it may take time for your submission to be considered by one of our editorial team. If we are interested in pursuing the project, we will contact you within six weeks of receipt of submission. If you have not heard from us within this timeframe then please contact us again.

If at first you don’t succeed…
